New MUGA pitch proves a big hit with Fleetwood students

The brand new MUGA (multi use games area) all weather pitch at Fleetwood Nautical Campus was finished just in time for the recent spell of good weather and our students have wasted no time putting it to good use.

The pitch is marked out for numerous sports and is available to students outside of the normal college day to get some well needed recreation and exercise.

It is also used as part of the extended curriculum which includes activities to develop and support health, wellbeing, fitness, teamwork, leadership and social skills.

The pitch sits adjacent to the halls of residence so is well placed for students who live on campus.

We are delighted to be able to offer this additional facility to our students and look forward to seeing it in use for many years to come.
