The Maritime Academy
Fleetwood Nautical Campus is a leading UK maritime academy offering education and apprenticeships for Merchant Navy Officers. Its maritime training roots go back to 1892 with the School for Fishermen. It became Fleetwood Navigation School in 1928, moved to its current site in 1967, and joined Blackpool and The Fylde College in 1987.

Lancashire Industrial Fire Training
The dedicated fire training centre, Lancashire Industrial Fire Training (LIFT) provides industrial, emergency response training from high hazard sites, offering initial and emergency response refresher training. This purpose-built facility allows real life fire and rescue scenarios to be practised in a safe environment, overseen by professional firefighters.
