Welcome to Lancashire Industrial Fire Training (LIFT). We are part of Blackpool and the Fylde College and are based in Fleetwood, in the North West of England. We have been providing fire training to the Offshore, Renewables and Maritime industries for over 20 years. We also provide industrial, emergency response and hazardous materials courses to in house company firefighting teams, offering initial and refresher training.
What we offer
Fire courses
Our core offer is an initial course of five days' duration and two refresher packages, however we are able to design and deliver bespoke industrial fire training of any duration to specific company requirements, with bespoke content and practical, scenario-based activities as required.
Hazardous materials courses
Our two day hazardous materials course provides the opportunity to refresh knowledge and skills in a hot fire environment wearing breathing apparatus. The course includes safe movement, casualty rescue from and firefighting using hose lines in a multi-level structure.
