Our maritime careers open events will allow you to discover the valuable skills, knowledge and experiences that a career as an officer in the maritime industry can provide and understand the training programmes needed to qualify as an officer in the Merchant Navy.

What else will there be?
You will be able to talk to our tutors, meet key members of our team and hear our current students talk about their experiences. There’ll be members of Student Support and Wellbeing team on hand to answer any questions you may have and Admissions staff will also be available to help with questions around applying, enrolling and funding.
The programme for the day will be sent to you in advance if you have registered to attend, so you can plan to get the most out of your visit.
