Aviation Sea Survival, Firefighting and Self Rescue Training for Cabin Crew

Cabin Crew survival

We have developed two courses at the request and under the guidance of the awarding authority/UK Aviation industry for students of colleges offering the Level 2 Certificate - Cabin Crew.

Employability advantage

These courses can provide your students with a key employability advantage in the job market over other students who have not undergone this practical training.

3 hours at Fleetwood Offshore Survival Centre.

Course fee

The certificate is awarded by Blackpool and the Fylde College and has no expiry date.

Medical Declaration

Parts of the course are of a physical nature.  Delegates will be required to complete a medical declaration stating that they are fit to undertake practical training when they attend the course. This will be sent with joining instructions and delegates are requested to read this carefully so they are fully aware of the physical requirements.

Aviation Firefighting and Self-Rescue for Cabin Crew

This course allows cabin crew trainees to experience first-hand the emergency firefighting and self-rescue that would be required in a real-life situation. At our dedicated fire training centre, we can replicate conditions which may be encountered, using real fires of all classes including kerosene and all extinguisher types* and using our training smoke galleries and escape sets for the self-rescue element.

*Note: it is not permitted to train with halon 365 aviation extinguishers due to the high CFC content, but CO2 are operated in the same way for the same types of fire.

Duration/location

3 hours at Fleetwood Fire Training Centre.
