These courses are entry points to a career at sea as an officer in the Merchant Navy
You can join these courses at ages 16-18, though there is no upper age limit.
The Level 3 Diploma has sponsored and direct entry (non-sponsored) routes and there are Deck (Nautical Science) and Marine Engineering pathways in both routes.
If you don't manage to secure sponsorship and join us via the direct entry route, we will support you in securing a sponsored cadetship at the end of your Level 3 qualification.
