Life in Fleetwood

Fleetwood sits at the northern tip of Lancashire’s Fylde Coast in north-west England. Originally developed as a busy fishing port, the town is now well known for its outlet shopping at Affinity Fleetwood and for its League Two football club, Fleetwood Town FC.

The town’s scenic promenade offers views towards the Cumbrian coastline, with highlights including the Rossall Point Observation Tower and Fleetwood Museum. The Art-Deco Marine Hall hosts a varied, year-round programme of events, ranging from live music and theatre to comedy and family shows.

A convenient tram service connects Fleetwood to nearby Blackpool, one of Europe’s most popular seaside resorts, famous for its attractions, entertainment, and miles of golden beach. Fleetwood also makes an excellent base for exploring the wider North West, with easy access to beauty spots such as Beacon Fell and the Lake District, as well as the vibrant cities of Manchester and Liverpool.
