Welcome to Fleetwood Offshore Survival Centre (FOSC), part of Blackpool and the Fylde College. We are a leading provider of safety, survival, fire and first aid training to the Merchant Navy, offshore oil and gas, renewables and fire emergency response industries. Our team of teaching staff are highly qualified with first-hand experience of the offshore, fire, renewables, maritime and safety industries.
What we do
FOSC offers a broad portfolio of industry body accredited courses delivered by expert staff and supported by outstanding facilities. Accrediting bodies we work with include OPITO, GWO, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and Qualsafe.
We also work with the industrial fire emergency response sector, providing bespoke initial and refresher training for emergency response teams at high hazard sites, with scenarios designed to specific company requirements. Find out more here.
