Former FNC student wins Maritime UK Award

We are delighted to report that former FNC student Terence (Terry) Jones was the winner of the Bevis Minter Award at the Maritime UK Awards evening last week. The award recognises those who demonstrate determination and a particularly positive attitude to succeed in their chosen career.
Terry completed an HNC in Nautical Science at FNC between 2018 and 2021, sponsored by Clyde Marine. During his time with us, Terry worked hard at his studies and was class representative for his cohort, demonstrating leadership and, as one of his tutors put it, "being the glue that held them together and helped them to succeed".
