Course Overview
Update your first aid skills with the First Aid at Work Annual Refresher (QAR) qualification. Specifically designed for qualified first aiders, this half-day course enables you to update your first aid skills on an annual basis, until requalification training is required.

Medical Declaration:
Attention is drawn to the fact that parts of the course are of a physical nature. You will be required to complete a medical declaration when you attend your course.
Entry Requirements
You will need a current First Aid at Work Certificate.
Assessment Methods
This half-day course provides you with an opportunity to practise and develop confidence in performing essential first aid procedures, such as managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, wounds and bleeding, shock and more.
Teaching and Learning Methods
This class-based course comprises 30% theory and 70% practical learning.
Industry Placement and Field Trips
This course has no industry placement and no field trips.
Other Costs and Equipment Needed
There are no additional costs for this course. The dress code is smart/casual and you will also need to bring photographic proof of your identity, such as a passport or UK driving licence (compulsory to attend the course).
