FNC to partner on international Helicopter Underwater Escape Study

We are delighted to announce that Fleetwood Test House will be working with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Civil Aviation Authority International (CAAi) on a research project to investigate underwater evacuations of offshore helicopters and occupant survivability.
The two year research project, ‘Helicopter Underwater Escape #2’ will be funded from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and will deliver new research and representative underwater escape data to support European aviation authorities with offshore helicopter operations, regulation, and oversight.
