A maritime career involves much more than you might expect, so it’s important for you to see exactly what you’ll be doing day to day. During the event, we will offer live demonstrations and talks in our Environmental Training Pool, Engine Room Simulator, and Full Mission Bridge Simulator, as well as tours of the Marine Engineering Centre and information about our Lancashire Industrial Fire Training.

Fleetwood Nautical Campus cadets have an exceptional record of success. FNC students have won the Maritime and Coastguard Agency Officer Cadet Trainee Officer of the Year Award more times than any other maritime education and training provider - an unrivalled achievement. 

Our external exam pass rates consistently exceed the national average year after year, and our cadets achieve the highest success rates for the Certificate of Competency at the end of their studies, with 90% passing compared to the national average of 60%.
