Train to become a work-based emergency first aider with the QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF). Upon successful completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations.
Develop First Aid skills to enable you to reduce the effects of injury or illness suffered at work, whether caused by the work itself or not. You will be able to give immediate assistance to casualties with both common injuries or illness and those likely to arise from specific hazards at work.
Validity of certificate
Update your first aid skills with the First Aid at Work Annual Refresher (QAR) qualification. Specifically designed for qualified first aiders, this half-day course enables you to update your first aid skills on an annual basis, until requalification training is required.
Validity of certificate:
This qualification is based on the HSE training standard for delivery of First Aid at Work courses for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981. The aim of the qualification is to enable students to refresh their knowledge and competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations.
