Studying Nautical Science (Deck) at Fleetwood Nautical Campus will prepare you to safely navigate vessels using advanced bridge systems and real-world training environments. You’ll develop the skills to manage navigation, communications and operations onboard, ensuring ships, crew and cargo reach their destination safely.

As a Navigation Officer, you’ll play a key role in the ship’s management team. During your watch, you’ll be responsible for monitoring the vessel’s position, making critical decisions, and maintaining safe navigation using the latest technology and systems.

Studying Marine Engineering at Fleetwood Nautical Campus prepares you to operate, maintain and manage the complex systems that keep a vessel running safely and efficiently. From propulsion systems to power generation, you’ll develop the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to perform in real onboard environments.

As a Marine Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of a ship’s engine room. You’ll monitor, maintain and repair essential machinery, ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently while supporting the wider ship’s operations.
